Sophia is a disabled rights campaigner and Campaigns Manager in the charity sector and has worked in both policy and campaigning with a focus on health and disability. She is the Campaigning trustee for the Alliance of Inclusive Education, a Disabled Person's Organisation that campaigns for the inclusion of all disabled learners in mainstream schools.

She also volunteers with the Education and Advocacy arm of the Make Listening Safe workgroup, part of the World Hearing Forum. Sophia started the campaign group 'Ableism and Me' in 2020 to raise awareness and challenge ableism in society. She will be re-launching the campaign later this year.
