Get involved

If you are Labour and you care about human rights, we want to hear from you. Here’s how you can get involved:

Join our campaigns

There are three main ways to get involved with our campaigns:

1. Grassroots campaigning. Raising awareness of human rights across the wider party and campaigning at the local level. Our grassroots activities include organising CLP and student group events, and engaging with MPs in their constituencies.

2. Policy development. Help us to develop clear and ambitious policy ideas and objectives, drawing on our own expertise and that of other civil society groups.

3. Advocacy. Our direct advocacy includes writing letters and briefings, and organising events in Westminster.

Join our executive committee

We are always looking to include new people in our team. If you’re interested in the issues we work on and have something to contribute get in touch with our Chair directly at andrew.noakes@lchr.org.uk, and don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter to find out all the ways you can get involved.

Activism

Don’t have the time to be a full-time member of our team? Our activism activities might be for you! If you want to see a change in the UK’s domestic or international human rights practices we want to hear from you. Please e-mail us at andrew.noakes@lchr.org.uk.
